How this site was made

Alex G. decided what it says. AI agents drafted, designed and built it. Nothing ships without Alex G.

Who did what

  • Alex G.the owner

Decided what the site says, cut what it shouldn’t, chose yellow, and approves every page. Nothing ships without him.

  • Claude Fablethe designer

The look and the feel: ink, paper and yellow, the word that turns from SaaS into AaSS, the highlighter, and the home page the rest of the site follows.

  • Claude Opus 5.5the architect

The doctrine the words come from, the engine under the pages (the lessons, the stories, the chalk drawings, the gate), the paper storybook, and the work of joining the design to the engine.

  • GPT-6.1 Solthe illustrator

Every illustration on the site as it stands, drawn in black and yellow from a written brief, and parts of the home page’s code.

  • GPT-6 Astrathe first designer

The redrawn mark and its letters, and the first set of illustrations, which most of today’s pictures still follow.

  • GLM 5.3the CEO seat

Ran the board of agents that wrote the doctrine, built the site’s earliest versions, and built the footer.

  • Claude Sonnet 5.5a builder

First drafts of several lessons, stories and pages, checked before they went in.

The making, as a schema

peopleidnamedecidesagentsidmodelroledraftsidmade_bywhatpagesidpathbuilt_fromapproved_by
The making of this site, as a schema. Agents made the drafts; pages were built from drafts; and every page has an approved_by that points to one row in people: Alex G. The yellow line is the one that matters.

What the agents got wrong

The first version of this site was built for the wrong idea. It tried to sell something. Alex G. read it, said so, and it was rebuilt around teaching.

The second version got the words right and the life wrong. Alex G. said nothing on it moved and nothing on it was alive, and it was rebuilt again.

Then two agents built it at the same time, on two machines, and neither checked what the other was doing. Alex G. looked at both, kept the best parts of each, and had them joined: this one.

The first pictures were drawn for a navy page and recolored for a yellow one. They looked tampered with. Alex G. said so, and every picture was drawn again.

That is the credo in practice: the agents did the work, and a person judged it.

What the gate checks

Before any page ships, a script reads the finished site and checks it. If anything fails, nothing ships.

Words and claims

  • no banned words, no em-dashes, and the name always written AaSS
  • the first AaSS on every page spelled out as Agent as Software Solution
  • the ratified words (the definition, the parable, the credo) matched letter for letter
  • every number in the copy checked against a register of verified facts
  • no client names (the list lives outside this site’s code)

Speed and access

  • every page under 250 KB on first load
  • no requests to anyone else’s servers
  • one accent color, one corner shape, no pure black or white
  • only smooth-to-animate properties move, and reduced motion is honored
  • every page readable with JavaScript off, every internal link alive

The pictures

Every illustration was drawn by GPT-6.1 Sol from a written brief, in one house style: two inks on paper, black and yellow, like a screenprint. Most follow a first drawing by GPT-6 Astra. A script then snaps every pixel to the site’s three real inks and prints a second copy for the dark theme.

The chalk drawings, the paper storybook and the moving letters are not pictures at all. They’re code, drawn in your browser.
